Transforming weapons into ethical and sustainable jewelry, Article 22 has created a social enterprise in Laos that supports artisans by employing them to make beautiful up-cycled jewelry. Made by melting and recasting shrapnel from the 80 million unexploaded bombs, Article 22 creates wood and ash molds for their unqiue pieces.

Partnered with the Mines Advisory Group in Laos, at least 3 square meters of bomb littered land is cleared for every piece of jewelry made, leaving the land safer for citizens and allowing the land to be cleared for farming to promote trade and the economic stability of the area.
